CLOSED: Exposure Draft for the Data Availability and Transparency Amendment Code

The proposed amendments aim to prescribe additional requirements for data sharing agreements made under the Data Availability and Transparency Act 2022 (the Act). These requirements ensure that if state or territory data is shared through a Commonwealth body who is a data custodian under the Act, the data sharing agreement explicitly recognises rights and obligations that a State or Territory body may have in respect of the data by specifying certain information about any conditions on sharing the data.
